Opportunity Summary

EcoStay Resorts is seeking a sustainability expert through JecoLuxe to conduct a comprehensive assessment of a luxury resort property in the Maldives. The engagement covers environmental performance, energy and carbon, water and waste systems, and practical recommendations that protect guest experience while advancing measurable ESG outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the sustainability assessment across resort operations and facilities
Collect and analyse baseline environmental and operational data
Engage leadership, department heads, and on-site teams
Identify gaps against ESG and hospitality sustainability standards
Develop prioritised recommendations and an actionable roadmap
Facilitate a findings workshop with client stakeholders
Deliver final reports, presentation, and supporting materials

What We're Looking For

Hospitality ESG expertise
Luxury resort or hotel sustainability delivery experience
On-site assessment capability
Comfortable conducting field reviews in island destinations
Stakeholder facilitation
Strong communication with executives and operations teams
Standards fluency
Familiarity with GSTC, ISO 14001, GRI or equivalent
Clear reporting
Ability to produce decision-ready roadmaps and decks
